Staff Writer. St. Kitts and Nevis were rattled by an earthquake Saturday, March 19, but no damage was reported from the shaker. Carl Herbert, director of the National Emergency Management Agency, said the 6.5 magnitude earthquake failed to raise alarms because of public awareness campaigns sponsored by NEMA.
