  • Several wildfires continue to burn across eastern USA, resulting in casualties, as reported by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). 
  • In Arizona, the Telegraph wildfire has burned an area of approximately 73,120 ha, leading to 21 injured people and to mandatory evacuations of at least 4,230 people. About 54 houses and buildings have been damaged or destroyed. As of 22 June, 87% of the wildfire has been contained.
  • The Robertson Draw wildfire in Montana has injured five people, 160 others have been evacuated and an area of 11,927 ha has burned.
  • In Utah, the Pack Creek wildfire has caused four injured people, as 3,621 ha have burned. About 232 people have been evacuated and 15 buildings damaged or destroyed. 
  • According to the Global Wildfire Information System (GWIS), the fire danger forecast is mostly extreme on 23-25 June over most of eastern USA, including the already affected States.
