Adamawa State, Nigeria, October 2019News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported 40 villages were flooded in Adamawa State, after heavy rain from 23 October caused flooding of the Benue river. There was also some speculation that the flooding was linked to the release of water from Lagdo Dam in Cameroon. Farmland and houses along the Benue river have been destroyed.
