Angola, January 2020Heavy rain from 03 January 2020 caused flooding in the provinces of Luanda, Cuando Cubango and Cuanza Sul, Angola. Around 500 families were affected in total. One fatality was reported in Luanda.

Heavy rain in northern parts of the country caused flooding in the provinces of Uige and Cabinda on 08 January. One person died and 200 people were displaced after floods inundated homes in Uige (38 homes) and Negage (10 homes) municipalities in Uige Province. 2 people died and 150 homes were damaged during flash flooding in Cabinda Province.
