USA, South and Midwest, January 2020According to media, as of 12 January, fatalities were reported in Texas (3), Alabama (3), Louisiana (3), Oklahoma (1) and Iowa (1). Power outages have occurred for hundreds of thousands of people from Texas to Ohio, while parts of several roads were closed in Oklahoma and Arkansas due to flooding. A state of emergency has been declared for Arkansas.
