Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, Late January 2022Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reported fatalities and material damages as a result of a period of heavy rain from 21 January 2022. A landslide occurred in Alpuri, Shangla District, late on 20 January 2022, destroying a family house and leaving at least 5 people dead. Searches for other occupants were ongoing. PDMA reported heavy rain from 21 to 22 January caused buildings to collapse in Peshawar, Charsadda, Khyber, Buner, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Hangu, Karak and Swat causing 3 fatalities (1 each in Charsadda, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu) and 12 injuries.Mon 24 Jan 2022FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
