Kerala, India. August 2022Heavy monsoon rainfall caused flooding and landslides in the state of Kerala, India, from early August 2022. According to a report by Carita, Kottayam and Pathanamthitta districts were worst affected, as of 05 August. Nineteen fatalities were reported due to various rain-related incidents, including landslips, flash floods and road accidents, and as many as 32 houses were destroyed and 232 houses damaged partially. Nine National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) teams were deployed and more than 5,600 people have been moved into 184 relief camps, as of 05 August 2022.Mon 8 Aug 2022FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
