Sindh Province, Pakistan, Late May 2023Local media in Pakistan reported at least 4 people died as a result of heavy rain in Sindh Province from 30 to 31 May 2023 Severe weather including lightning strikes, hail, strong winds and heavy rainfall affected wide areas of the province. Power supply was interrupted in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Kotri. Three children died when heavy rain caused a wall to collapse in Kotri. One child died and 4 were injured when part of a house collapsed under heavy rain in Sanghar district. Six people died of lightning strikes in Tharparkar district, and one person died after being electrocuted by falling power lines in Naushahro Feroze district.Fri 2 Jun 2023FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
