BEIJING, June 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted Argentina at 3:52 p.m. Saturday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The epicenter, with a depth of 530 km, was at 22.1 degrees south latitude and 63.6 degrees west longitude.

BUENOS AIRES, June 2 (Xinhua) -- A 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted northern Argentina on Saturday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. The epicenter of the tremor, which struck at 4:52 a.m. local time (0752 GMT), was located 54 km northeast of Salta city and 8 km southeast of the southern Bolivian city of Yacuiba at a depth of 519.
