BEIJING, Oct. 1 (Xinhuanet) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake has hit Yuexi County, the Autonomous Prefecture of Liangshan, in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. So far, no casualties have been reported in Wednesday morning’s quake. Authorities have since launched a level-three emergency response to deal with the aftermath.

BEIJING, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Yuexi County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, at 9:23 a.m. Wednesday, the China Earthquake Networks Center said. The epicenter was monitored at 28.4 degrees north latitude and 102.8 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 15 km, the center said.
