A 5.0 – 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Lakhsh district of Tajikistan, the press service of the Committee on Emergency Situations told Khovar. “According to the Geophysics Service of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, tremors were registered at 10:09 am local time,” the spokesperson said.

AKIPRESS.COM Residents of Uzbekistan on May 3 said they felt aftershocks of the strong earthquake that was registered on the territory of Tajikistan, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported. "The tremors were quite strong that it wiggled lusters in houses," the report said.
