5.2-magnitude earthquake jolts Nepal

A medium intensity earthquake hit Nepal’s Dolakha district on Friday morning. According to the National Seismological Centre, the tremor, which was felt at 8.36 am local time, was of magnitude 5.2 on the Richter scale and was listed as an aftershock sequence of 2015 Gorkha earthquake.

Kathmandu, Dec 8: A moderate intensity earthquake of 5.0 magnitude on Ritcher Scale hit Nepal on Friday morning, said the India Meteorological Department in an alert. The epicentre of the earthquake that struck Nepal is located at longitude 86.1812 and latitude 27.7986 in Dolakha.
