  • An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 M at a depth of 10 km occurred in western Iran, close to the border with Iraq, on 25 November at 16.37 UTC. The epicentre was located 20 km south-west of Sarpol Zahab town (Kermanshah Province), 120 km west of Kermanshah city and 155 km north-east of Baghdad area (Iraq). USGS PAGER indicated a shake up to "very strong" for 8 000 people and up to "strong" for 266 000 people.
  • As of 26 November, there are no reports of casualties and major damages. According to the media, 548 people were reported injured and approximately 100 000 houses damaged across the Kermanshah Province.
