  • Following the earthquake of 6.4 M occurred offshore over Halmahera Sea, (approximately 100 km north of Daruba city, Morotai Island, North Maluku Province) on 4 June at 8.49 UTC, the number of affected families and damaged buildings has increased.
  • The Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) reports, as of 7 June, 143 affected families and 312 damaged buildings (of which 264 slightly damaged, 34 moderately damaged, and 14 severely damaged) as well as 12 damaged public facilities across 6 districts of the North Maluku Province: South Morotai, East Morotai, North Morotai, Morotai Jaya, South West Morotai, and Rau Island.
