Northern Angola, March 2021On 16 March, flash floods triggered by heavy rain affected areas of Luanda Province, Angola. National Civil Protection and Fire Service said at least 4 died and 3 were missing, 1,770 people affected and 554 homes flooded. Media said torrential rain fell during a storm lasting 3 hours. Many of the damaged homes were in Viana district. The districts of Cacuaco, Talatona and Belas were also affected. Heavy rainfall on 12 March caused flooding in Malanje Province where 1 person died and more than 150 houses were damaged or destroyed.Thu 18 Mar 2021FloodList provided by Copernicus GLOFAS
