The 12th named tropical cyclone of the season has formed. Tropical Storm Lisa is churning in the eastern Atlantic and poses no threat to the United States. Lisa was earlier classified as a tropical depression (no.13), but has strengthened as of the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
