The map shows the accumulated precipitation along the cyclone's track. Yellow area is > 100mm; Red area is > 300mm; Blue area is > 500mm. The accumulated rainfall is calculated based on the Tropical Rainfall Potential of NOAA/NESDIS. Key points: At least 883 houses have been damaged by the cyclone and 5,630 have been damaged due to floodwater, particularly in Antalaha district. Food availability is a challenge to affected populations in remote areas cut off by damaged roads. 100% of the crops and rice fields in Antalaha and Sambava have been submerged and destroyed.

Selon le dernier bilan provisoire communiqué par le Bureau National de Gestion des Risques et des Catastrophes (BNGRC), 50 personnes auraient perdu la vie, 195 seraient blessées et 20 autres seraient portées disparues. Les autorités recensent également 205 424 déplacés et 296 125 sinistrés.

De part et d’autre de la rivière, les dégâts sont encore visibles. Certains réparent une partie de leur maison détruite par le cyclone, d’autres lavent le linge. La vie a repris peu à peu à Antananarivo. De l’autre côté de la route, un parking transformé en centre d’hébergement d’urgence. Il y a 3 jours, ils étaient 2700.
