<ul> <li>NANGKA continued moving north-west towards southern Japan as a Typhoon, slightly weakening. On 16 July at 0.00 UTC its centre was located approx. 290 km south of Kochi city, Shikoku island and it had maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h.</li> <li>Over the next 12 h it is forecast to continue moving north-west approaching southern Japan and slightly weakening. Its centre may reach Shikoku island in the area of Kochi on 16 July afternoon, as a Typhoon.
