On 18 August at 0.00 UTC its centre was located approx. 1 400 km south-east of Batanes Islands (Philippines) and it had maximum sustained winds of 194 km/h. </li> <li>Over the next 24 h it is forecast to continue moving north-west over open waters and slightly weakening. It is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the morning of 18 August (UTC). It may approach Batanes Islands in the Philippines and southern Taiwan over 20-21 August as a strong Typhoon.</li> </ul> </article> </main></body></html>
