<ul> <li>Tropical cyclone MORA continued moving north towards the coastal districts of Cox's Bazar town (Chittagong division, Bangladesh), strengthening. On 30 May at 0.00 UTC, it made landfall close to the city of Kutubdia with max. sustained winds between 100 - 120 km/h.</li> <li>Over the next 24 h, it is forecast to move north across Chittagong, weakening. JRC estimated a maximum storm surge height of 2 m in Dinsehpur town on 30 May at 3.00 UTC. Strong winds, storm surge and heavy rain may affect the coastal areas of Bangladesh and northern coastal areas of Myanmar.
