    &lt;li&gt;Tropical cyclone MORA continued moving north towards the coastal districts of Cox's Bazar town (Chittagong division, Bangladesh), strengthening. On 30 May at 0.00 UTC, it made landfall close to the city of Kutubdia with max. sustained winds between 100 - 120 km/h.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Over the next 24 h, it is forecast to move north across Chittagong, weakening. JRC estimated a maximum storm surge height of 2 m in Dinsehpur town on 30 May at 3.00 UTC. Strong winds, storm surge and heavy rain may affect the coastal areas of Bangladesh and northern coastal areas of Myanmar. Heavy rain is also forecast to affect northeastern India over 30 May - 1 June.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;According to local media, at least 300 000 people have been evacuated in the district of Cox's Bazar and at least 150 houses have been damaged on St Martin's island.&lt;/li&gt;
