Vietnam - Tropical Cyclone DAMREY Update

Due to the passage of tropical cyclone DAMREY between 31 October and 5 November, the death toll has reached 49 in Vietnam, with 22 people still missing (media reports as of 6 November at 6.00 UTC).
At least 35 000 people have been evacuated and almost 80 000 houses have been damaged in the affected provinces of Khan Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Phu Yen. Media also reported that several roads have been closed and power outages have been affecting the area.
