<ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">BEJISA continues moving south-south-east over the southern Indian Ocean. On 1 January at 18h00 UTC it had a max. sustained wind speed of 195 km/h and its centre was located 280 km north-west of La Reunion.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">In the next 24h its centre is forecast to continue moving south-east, passing very close to the west coast of La Reunion on 2 January; then it will turn south-west, weakening rapidly.</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Strong winds and heavy rains could affect La Reunion and Mauritius on 2, 3 January.
