TOKIO - Snažan potres pogodio je u nedjelju sjeveroistočni Japanu, a radnici u oštećenoj nuklearnoj elektrani Fukushima evakuirani su, nakon što je izdano upozorenje od tsunamija. Potres je bio magnitude 7,0 prema Richteru i dogodio se na dubini od 10 kilometara od sjeveroistočne obale. Zasad nema izvješća o ozlijeđenima i materijalnoj šteti.

Twin earthquakes have jolted the south of Iran, killing at least one person and injuring 30, state media reports. The initial 5.5-magnitude quake damaged buildings, burying people under rubble. Tsunami is what caused the bulk of problems with Japans Fukushima reactor. Tsunami's don't occur in the Gulf area.
