اكدت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية، اليوم السبت، إن زلزالا بجنوب المحيط الهادي بلغت قوته5.7 درجات على مقياس ريشتر وقع على بعد 268 كيلومترا جنوبي جزيرة نوكوألوفا، في تونجا. وخفضت الهيئة قوة الزلزال، بعد أن قالت في باديء الأمر إن قوته 6.1 درجات، ولم يصدر مركز المحيط الهادي أي تحذير ات من موجات المد العملاقة "تسونامي".
