El número de niños en edad escolar en las zonas afectadas por el terremoto y el tsunami de 2011 en la provincia de Miyagi, en el noroeste de Japón, ha descendido en un 30 por ciento según una encuesta realizada por el diario NHK. En esta localidad, 61 colegios de 11 ciudades diferentes sufrieron daños por el tsunami.
