Tropical Storm Muifa is moving toward the north-northeast at 5 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the northeast with an increase in forward speed over the next 24 hours. Maximum sustained winds remain at 45 mph. Tropical Storm Muifa is forecast to remain at this intensity through tonight, then start weakening and could dissipate Friday night or Saturday. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 65 miles in the eastern semicircle and up to 50 miles in the western semicircle.
