SITUATION
At 1200 UTC Severe Tropical Cyclone Maila was centred within 15 nautical miles
of
 latitude eight decimal six south (8.6S)
 longitude one hundred and fifty five decimal eight east (155.8E)
Recent movement : slow moving
Maximum winds   : 95 knots
Central pressure: 946 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 100 nautical miles in NE quadrant
  and within 100 nautical miles in SE quadrant
  and within 100 nautical miles in SW quadrant
  and within 110 nautical miles in NW quadrant.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 95 knots near the centre easing to 90 knots by 1200 UTC 09
April.
