SITUATION At 0600 UTC Severe Tropical Cyclone Zelia was centred over land within 10 nautical miles of latitude twenty decimal two south (20.2S) longitude one hundred and nineteen decimal one east (119.1E) Recent movement : south southeast at 8 knots Maximum winds : 95 knots Central pressure: 945 hPa Gales over water expected to have eased by 1500 UTC 14 February. AREA AFFECTED Within 50 nautical miles of the centre. FORECAST Maximum winds to 95 knots near the centre easing to 60 knots by 1800 UTC 14 February. Winds above 64 knots within 20 nautical miles of centre with high to very high seas and moderate swell. Winds above 48 knots within 30 nautical miles of centre with very rough to high seas and moderate swell. Until 1500 UTC 14 February winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles in NE quadrant and NW quadrants with very rough seas and moderate swell.
