SITUATION At 1800 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 20 nautical miles of latitude eleven decimal eight south (11.8S) longitude one hundred and eight decimal seven east (108.7E) Recent movement : east northeast at 4 knots Maximum winds : 30 knots Central pressure: 999 hPa The low may develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours. AREA AFFECTED Within 70 nautical miles of the centre in the northwest, northeast and southeast quadrants. FORECAST Maximum winds to 30 knots near the centre increasing to 45 knots by 1800 UTC 04 March. Winds above 34 knots within 70 nautical miles in northern quadrants from 000 UTC 04 March, extending to the southeast quadrant by 1200 UTC 04 March with rough seas and moderate swell.
