HURRICANE FORCE WIND WARNING

Please be aware, wind gusts can be a further 40 percent stronger than the

SITUATION
At 1800 UTC Tropical Cyclone Taliah was centred within 30 nautical miles of
 latitude fifteen decimal five south (15.5S)
 longitude ninety five decimal one east (95.0E)
Recent movement : west northwest at 3 knots
Maximum winds   : 40 knots
Central pressure: 992 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 90 nautical miles in NE quadrant
  and within 90 nautical miles in SE quadrant
  and within 100 nautical miles in SW quadrant
  and within 100 nautical miles in NW quadrant.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 40 knots near the centre increasing to 65 knots by 1800 UTC 09
February.

Winds above 48 knots within 50 nautical miles of centre from 0600 UTC 09
February with high seas and moderate to heavy swell.
