A tropical storm warning remains in effect for Guam, Rota,
Tinian and Saipan. Tropical storm conditions, including winds at
least 39 mph, are expected over the next few hours.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1000 PM CHST...1200 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 14W
was located by PGUA radar near Latitude 12.8 degrees North and 
Longitude 145.4 degrees East. 14W is moving northwest at 21 mph. 
It is expected to maintain this general course and speed through 
Wednesday. This current forecast track sends 14W over or near Guam 
over the next few hours. 

Maximum sustained winds remain at 35 mph. 14W is forecast to intensify 
through tonight and is expected to become a tropical storm overnight.
Once to the northwest of Guam, 14W is expected to continue 
intensifying over the Philippine Sea.

The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National
Weather Service at 200 AM ChST early Wednesday morning followed
by an intermediate advisory at 500 AM ChST.
