DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm 24W was
located near Latitude 11.5 degrees North and Longitude
134.0 degrees East. 24W is moving west at 15 mph. It is expected
to make a turn toward the northwest with a slight increase in
forward speed through Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 45 mph. 24W is forecast
to intensify through Tuesday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
105 miles to the northeast and up to 70 miles elsewhere.
