DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 26W was
located near Latitude 9.9 degrees North and Longitude 134.0 degrees
East. 26W is moving west at 13 mph. It is expected to make a slight
turn toward the west-northwest with a slight decrease in forward
speed through Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds are 30 mph. 26W is forecast to intensify
through Thursday possibly becoming a tropical storm later today.
