DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Nakri was 
located near Latitude 22.3 degrees North and Longitude 136.0 degrees 
East. Nakri is moving northwest at 18 mph. It is expected to maintain
this general course with a decrease in forward speed through Friday,
then make a gradual turn to the northeast Saturday to the south of 
Kyushu, Japan.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 45 mph. Nakri is
forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight before gradually
intensifying Friday as it exits the WFO Guam Area of Responsibility.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
65 miles.
