DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Kalmaegi
was located near Latitude 10.8 degrees North and Longitude 134.5 
degrees East. Kalmaegi is moving west at 15 mph. It is expected to 
maintain this general course with a slight increase in forward speed 
through Monday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 50 mph. Kalmaegi is
forecast to intensify over the next couple of days, possibly 
becoming a typhoon Monday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
50 miles.
