DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Kalmaegi
was located near Latitude 11.3 degrees North and Longitude
132.6 degrees East. Kalmaegi is moving west-northwest at 18 mph.
It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west with little
change in forward speed through Monday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 60 mph. Kalmaegi is
forecast to intensify through Monday possibly becoming a typhoon.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
80 miles.
