CHANGES WITH THIS ADVISORY -------------------------- None. WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Chuuk, Fananu, Ulul and Polowat in Chuuk State. A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 to 73 mph, are occurring. A Typhoon Watch remains in effect for Ulul in Chuuk State. A Typhoon Watch means that typhoon conditions, including winds of 74 mph or greater, are possible within 48 hours. Residents of Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan should carefully monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Sinlaku (04W). Sinlaku is moving west at 2 mph. It is expected to turn toward the northwest with little change in forward speed through Saturday. This general forecast track will take Sinlaku very close to Guam on Tuesday as a category 3 typhoon. Maximum sustained winds remain at 50 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to intensify through Saturday. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 140 miles to the north and up to 80 miles to the south.
