Sinlaku is moving east at 1 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the north-northwest with an increase in forward speed through Sunday as it treks toward the Marianas. Maximum sustained winds remain at 70 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to intensify through tonight, possibly becoming a typhoon as early as late afternoon today. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 140 miles.
