A Typhoon Watch remains in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan. A Typhoon Warning means that typhoon conditions, including winds of 74 mph or more, are occurring. A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39 to 74 mph, are expected within 24 hours. A Typhoon Watch means that typhoon conditions, including winds of 74 mph or more, are possible within 48 hours. Sinlaku is moving north-northeast at 5 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the northwest with a slight increase in forward speed through Sunday as it heads toward the Marianas. Maximum sustained winds remain at 85 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to intensify through Sunday, remaining as a typhoon as it moves toward the Marianas. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 50 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 185 miles.
