DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1000 AM CHST...0000 UTC...the center of Typhoon Sinlaku was 
located near Latitude 19.5 degrees North and Longitude 145.4 degrees 
East. Sinlaku is moving north-northeast at 7 mph. It is expected to 
turn toward the northeast with an increase in forward speed through 
Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 100 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
weaken through the weekend, possibly becoming extratropical sometime
Sunday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 85 miles. 
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 270 
miles to the northeast and up to 235 miles elsewhere.
