DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Typhoon Sinlaku was 
located near Latitude 20.3 degrees North and Longitude 145.9 
degrees East. Sinlaku is moving northeast at 8 mph. It is expected
to make a slight turn toward the north-northeast with a slight 
increase in forward speed through Saturday. Tropical storm force 
winds continue at Alamagan and Pagan through late tonight or early
Saturday morning and through Saturday morning at Agrihan.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 90 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
weaken over the next couple of days, possibly becoming 
extratropical Sunday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
85 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 270 miles to the northeast and up to 235 miles
elsewhere.

An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather 
Service at 1100 PM tonight followed by the next scheduled advisory
at 200 AM early Saturday morning.
