DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 400 AM CHST...1800 UTC...the center of Typhoon Sinlaku was
located near Latitude 21.3 degrees North and Longitude
146.5 degrees East. Sinlaku is moving north-northeast at 10 mph.
It is expected to maintain this general course with a slight
increase in forward speed through Sunday. Tropical storm conditions
continue at Agrihan, but a combination of Sinlaku weakening and
moving away should allow for tropical storm conditions to end within
the next few hours.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 90 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
weaken through tonight.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
80 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 270 miles to the northeast and northwest, and up to 235 
miles elsewhere.

The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National
Weather Service at 800 AM ChST followed by an intermediate
advisory at 1100 AM ChST.
