DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression
Hagupit was located near Latitude 9.4 degrees North and Longitude
134.0 degrees East. Hagupit is moving west at 13 mph. It is
expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with a
slight decrease in forward speed today as it continues to move away
from Yap and Palau.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 35 mph. Hagupit is
forecast to maintain this intensity through Sunday.
