DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 05W 
was located near Latitude 14.5 degrees North and Longitude 129.5 
degrees East. 05W is moving northwest at 18 mph away from the 
Marianas and Western Micronesia. It is expected to maintain this 
general course with a decrease in forward speed through Sunday. 

Maximum sustained winds are 30 mph. 05W is forecast to intensify
through tonight possibly becoming a tropical storm.
