DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Kong-rey
was located near Latitude 16.7 degrees North and Longitude
135.7 degrees East. Kong-rey is moving west-northwest at 16 mph.
It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west with a
decrease in forward speed through Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 40 mph. Kong-rey is forecast to
maintain this intensity through Sunday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
150 miles to the north and up to 70 miles to the south.
