DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Kong-rey
was located near Latitude 16.7 degrees North and Longitude 131.6 
degrees East. Kong-rey is moving west at 13 mph. It is expected to 
maintain this general course with a slight decrease in forward 
speed through Monday, then turn northwest Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 45 mph. Kong-rey is
forecast to intensify for the next few days, possibly becoming a 
typhoon late Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
155 miles.
