A tropical storm warning is in effect for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and
Saipan. A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm
conditions including winds of 39 mph or greater are expected to
develop early Wednesday morning.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm Man-yi
was located near Latitude 14.0 degrees North and Longitude
147.1 degrees East. Man-yi is moving west at 18 mph. It is
expected to maintain this general course with a slight decrease
in forward speed through Wednesday.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 45 mph. Man-yi is forecast to
intensify through Wednesday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to
85 miles to the northeast and up to 50 miles elsewhere.

An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather
Service at 1100 PM ChST followed by the next scheduled advisory
at 200 AM ChST early Wednesday morning.
