DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 700 AM CHST...2100 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W
was located near Latitude 20.3 degrees North and Longitude
130.6 degrees East. 10W is moving northwest at 12 mph. It is
expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with a
slight decrease in forward speed through Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 35 mph. 10W is forecast
to intensify through Thursday possibly becoming a tropical storm
later today.
