A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for Fananu in Chuuk State.

This local statement provides information and recommended actions
for people on Fananu in Chuuk State.

.WATCHES/WARNINGS...
A Tropical Storm Watch is now in effect for Fananu in Chuuk State.

A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions, including
damaging winds of 39 to 73 mph, are possible within the next 48 hours.

.STORM INFORMATION...
At 1 PM ChST...the center of Tropical Depression 04W was located near
Latitude 8.7N...Longitude 152.0E. This is about 20 miles
west-northwest of Fananu. Storm motion was west at 5 mph. Storm
intensity was 30 mph. 

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
A Tropical Storm Watch has now been issued. A more detailed statement
