None. .AREAS AFFECTED... This local statement provides information and recommended actions for people on Chuuk, Fananu, and Ulul in Chuuk State. .WATCHES/WARNINGS... A Typhoon Watch remains in effect for Ulul in Chuuk State. A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Chuuk, Fananu, Ulul, and Polowat in Chuuk State. A Typhoon Watch means that typhoon conditions are possible within the next 48 hours. A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions, including damaging winds of 39 to 73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours or are ongoing. .STORM INFORMATION... At 700 AM ChST, the center of Tropical Storm Sinlaku (04W) was located near Latitude 8.1 degrees North and Longitude 151.0 degrees East. This is about 70 miles northwest of Weno, 90 miles west- northwest of Fananu, 95 miles east-southeast of Ulul, and 150 miles east-northeast of Puluwat. Sinlaku is nearly stationary, moving due east at just 1 mph with maximum sustained winds of 70 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the north- northwest with an increase in forward speed through Sunday as it treks toward the Marianas. .SITUATION OVERVIEW... When making decisions, do not focus on the exact forecast track. Tropical Storm Sinlaku (04W) is moving nearly stationary northwest of Chuuk. Sinlaku is forecast to become a typhoon later today. Damage has been reported across outer islands throughout Chuuk State, including to buildings and downed power lines. Coastal inundation and beach erosion has been reported as well. Due to the slow movement of Sinlaku, these conditions are expected to persist across Chuuk State through at least tonight. The heavy rainfall across Chuuk State will continue to produce localized flooding and increase the possibility of mudslides on high islands such as Weno. .PRECAUTION/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
